Assemblymember Cooley Knows How Covered California Can Lower Insurance Rates for Everyone

(Sacramento) -- Covered California, the Golden State's version of the federal Affordable Care Act will soon start the process of providing high quality health insurance coverage to eligible Californians who are currently uninsured.  Recently, at a Covered California forum in Sacramento, California State Assemblymember Ken Cooley (D-Rancho Cordova) explained how a larger pool of insured people spreads health care costs out, lowering the amount each person pays.  Cooley also touted the new Covered California call center in Rancho Cordova, creating 300 local jobs.  Learn more in this Assembly Access Video.
