Assemblyman Cooley Says Governor's State of the State Speech is Hopeful

(Sacramento) – California State Assemblyman Ken Cooley (D-Rancho Cordova) says Governor Jerry Brown's State of the State Address challenges Californians to reach for the future. Assemblyman Cooley agrees with the Governor's hope for continued funding of higher education and public schools, while giving more local control to teachers and school districts. Cooley, a former councilman and mayor of Rancho Cordova, helped that city grow during difficult times. He agrees with the Governor's attitude of fiscal restraint for the long term health of California. Hear more in this Assembly Access Video.
